Summer Learning Programs at the DragonTree
Summer Intervention Boot Camp - BLENDED
Watch your child soar in Reading, Spelling, Typing, and Writing. Now is the time to catch up on reading skills!
Students ages 6 - 10
- Choose 1 or 2 days a week (1 hour) of in person learning at Dragontree Reading Center.
- At home, log in to our partner's award winning software (Nessy Learning) the other 2 - 3 days a week (for at least 20 minutes a day). Software license good for 3 months.

Cost: $125/week (2 days) + $44 software license

Reading and Math Camps (1 week sessions)
Small Group Mon - Thurs
Your child will review grade level reading, math, and problem-solving skills and apply them to daily activities such as cooking, building, acting, and crafting. Fun themes each week. Camps run all of July and August.
- Entering 3rd or 4th grade 9:00 – 10:30 am
- Entering 1st or 2nd grade 10:45 – 12:15 pm
Cost: $180/week
Discount given for multiple weeks
Get Ready for Kindergarten! (4 years +)
We will work on letters/sounds, number sense, listening comprehension and following directions through books, songs, games, and hands-on practice.
Fridays in August (4, 11, 18, 25) 9:00 - 10:00 am
Cost: $25/day or $90/month

Executive Functioning Fridays (small group)
Children struggling with executive dysfunction find the following life skills challenging:
- staying organized
- beginning and/or completing tasks
- staying focused on learning tasks
- managing time
- sometimes keeping friends
Join us on Fridays to work on skills and strategies to help your student strengthen their executive functioning skills. Activities are game or project-based and fun.

Fast ForWord Program (for Auditory Processing, Reading, and Attention) 12-15 week program
Fast ForWord is an evidence-based, adaptive reading and language program completed over the computer in your own home. It delivers 1-2 years gain in 40-60 hours of use for any struggling learner. Fast ForWord was developed by world renowned neuroscientists to target the root cause of reading and language difficulties in order to deliver lasting results that make better readers and lifelong learners.
Designed for students (6 and up) struggling with:
- reading difficulties
- auditory processing
- learning disabilities
- ADD/ADHD
- speech/language impairments
PACE (Processing & Cognitve Enhancement) 10-12 week program
PACE (Processing and Cognitive Enhancement) is a program developed by a multidisciplinary team of professionals to quickly and significantly build those learning skills that are vital to academic success. The program is done intensely (one-on-one, three times a week) with a trained provider, over a short period of time, so students can see quick results. The exercises are nonacademic so students aren't intimidated by them.
Designed for students (10 and up) struggling with:
- auditory or visual processing
- memory
- attention
- learning
- logic & reasoning
- self confidence

Sign up for a reading screening to make sure your child is ready for school in the fall. Designed for students Pre-K to 8th. Screenings are $30 and take approximately 30 minutes to screen and discuss your child's results.
