Let's start with understanding your concerns and answer your questions about your child's learning goals. The consultation is free and helps us make a plan for the next steps.
We gather information (through screenings or evaluations) about your child's strengths, struggles, worries, and successes to develop your child’s learning profile.
We use the data we have collected to tailor the right interventions to tackle your child’s specific needs and get him/her back on the path to success!
(30 – 45 minutes)- Screening $30
At the consultation, we will sit with you and go over your concerns for your child's learning goals and we can do a reading or math screening to see where your child is performing academically. We will discuss possible reasons why your child has been struggling and what we can do to get your child back on track for success.
All of your child's information is confidential. We do not share information with other doctors or schools without your written consent.
We are upfront and honest about how long interventions will take and how much it will cost depending on your child’s specific needs.
We will include recommendations for accommodations at school, if needed,
We give you the information you need to make the best choices for your child.
(45 minutes) - $150
What to know your child's cognitive strengths and weaknesses?
We will evaluate your child with the Gibson Test of Cognitive Skills which looks at the following areas: Memory (visual, auditory, and working), Processing Speed, Visual Processing, Word Attack, Auditory Analysis, and Logic & Reasoning skills.
We will put together a comprehensive report that will highlight your child’s strengths, point out areas that need to be developed or gaps in learning, and give you recommendations based on our child’s specific learning profile. Be sure to schedule your consultation to go over our findings.

(1 – 1 1/2 hours) - $250
No one knows your child better than you so we start the discovery process with a phone call to be sure we are able to meet your child's needs and set up an appointment.
Next, we will send you a learning questionnaire to fill out and bring with you to the evaluation. You (and your child) come in and we discuss your concerns and review any previous testing or evaluations your child has already completed at school or from the doctor. Be sure to bring these documents with you. We will go over any interventions or therapies your child may already have received.
Then, we will evaluate your child on any areas we feel we do not have enough data on to create a thorough intervention plan. We do not want to miss anything!

(2 – 3 hours) - $350
Need to know if your child has Dyslexia? We will conduct a full battery of skills to determine if your child has dyslexia, the type of dyslexia, and options for intervention.
First, we will send you a questionnaire to fill out regarding health and learning history. Please return this questionnaire along with any previous testing or evaluations your child has already completed at school or from the doctor. Once we receive these documents we can schedule an evaluation. Let us know about any interventions or therapies your child may already have received.
A diagnostic dyslexia evaluation will assess your child's skills in the following areas:
We will put together a comprehensive report that will highlight your child’s skills in each of the areas above and determine whether your child meets the criteria for dyslexia, and if so, what type of dyslexia your child has. We will give you recommendations based on your child’s specific learning profile. Be sure to schedule your consultation to go over our findings.

Whether your child has been recommended for reading intervention, cognitive training, speech therapy or other therapies we will make sure the intervention is specifically what your child needs.
We continuously evaluate your child throughout the program to be sure we are targeting the right skills at the right time.
You get regular feedback on how your child is doing and the progress he or she is making.
